A little about Olympia (pia)
Late afternoon on the 27th of March, a police car rolled up in front of the clinic… and five police officers climbed out. Our guards almost looked sweaty at the sight! They brought along a small ‘prisoner’. It was a big furry ball that came rolling out of the car, almost impossible to she what was head or toe. It was a small 2-2.5 year old female, more hair than body. She weighed 7.5 kg. She did not like to be held and showed to be very independent and with an air of self-confidence and pride. It was this special personality that got her the name Olympia. She has lived up to her name in all ways. She is so full of life and of herself. She is an expert climber and can make her own nests. She throws some great tandrums if she sees a milkbottle going somewhere else than her way, even though she does not necessarily wants to drink it… she just wants to own it! In august she now weighs 9.8 kg and has changed from a small furry ball to a somewhat bigger furry ball. She has not been sick at all since her arrival.
